Works in Progress report:

Sliced Coins: Done as far as I can get it without buying more fabric.

I am quite happy with how it turned out. The size is nice and balanced and I love how the fabrics work together even though they were a  mishmash.  And it was quite fun to piece. I am pretty pleased with the fact that I managed nice straight seams.

7 Blocks for Collaboration Baby quilt: Done
Circle of Wonky Stars QA: Still nothing.
MOTP Layer Cake QA: 3 blocks behind.
Buck a Block BOTM: Same status as last time.
The Hot Wheels quilt is still just an image on the computer. I may trash the whole plan and do a stacked coins with the fabric. I enjoyed making my sliced coins quilt.
And I need to Quilt the flaming Dragon doll quilt now that I have some batting.

New projects added:
Baby quilt for my cousin's baby coming this summer. She just found out it's a girl. I have some time on this one thank goodness.
Doll quilt using vintage sheet.
iPhone cover (Yeah I finally joined this century. Don't ask me to use Facebook though.)
Pencil case for my purse.

Sliced Coins Quilt Along: Making The Cut

I am participating in 3 quilt alongs right now. I am not exactly sure how that happened, but nonetheless, here I am.
The one I am working on today is Don't Call Me Betsy's Sliced Coin QA. I have always wanted to do one of these quilts, so I jumped right in. (Well, I did dither a tiny bit between a postage stamp and this one, but this one won out.)
I already had fabrics in my stash that had been grouped together to make a quilt, but had not found a pattern that appealed to me. But I thought they would work great for this. At least I hope so, since I already cut them up! :)

As I was cutting, I wasn't really loving them together as big pieces. But I don't really want to switch now, so these are the ones!

I Just noticed that over in the linky at Don't Call me Betsy , I misspelled my own blog name. Duh!

Just ignore my typo and go see who else is playing along. :)
