hi AJ, so very nice to read your blog and especially the "about you" section. I'm not sure how I found your blog but read "about" you tonight and was surprised to see you mention the Quilt Asylum and Alford Inn. My maiden name was Alford and I grew up in McKinney. How small our world is! Were you a member of the McKinney Quilt Guild, by chance? You might have known my mom - Shirley Alford. She was the quilter in our family, with one of my sisters. I'm slowly, very slowly, putting my toe in the water of quilting but do more blog reading and looking than I do sewing. Thanks for posting I'll keep reading.
