Finished 04-03-2015 Fabrics: Kona White, Funbots by Anne Kelle for Robert Kaufman, Remix Polka Dots Pink by Anne Kelle. The yellow is 2 different polka dot fabrics; the large dot is Fashion Plate by Barbara Jones for Henry Glass. Quilt is designed by me (Amy Whetten) and pieced, machine quilted and bound by me. Made for baby S.A. Hardin

Finished 07-16-2013 Fabrics: Kona Navy and Miscellaneous from JoAnn Fabrics.




Madison's Criss Cross - Finished 02-17-13 Baby girl quilt. Print fabrics (Tidbits) and pattern (Criss Cross) by Fresh Cut Quilts, solid is Kona Snow.




Beachy Dots 'n Tots Quilt Pattern by Debbie Taylor (It's Sew Emma Little P). Print fabric is Going Coastal and Shore Thing, both by Emily Herrick for Michael Miller fabrics. I added the extra little stripe in the center corners. Pieced 05/01/13

  1. hi AJ, so very nice to read your blog and especially the "about you" section. I'm not sure how I found your blog but read "about" you tonight and was surprised to see you mention the Quilt Asylum and Alford Inn. My maiden name was Alford and I grew up in McKinney. How small our world is! Were you a member of the McKinney Quilt Guild, by chance? You might have known my mom - Shirley Alford. She was the quilter in our family, with one of my sisters. I'm slowly, very slowly, putting my toe in the water of quilting but do more blog reading and looking than I do sewing. Thanks for posting I'll keep reading.
