It's a giveaway! RIGHT HERE!

*GIVEAWAY CLOSED
I know it's been AGES since I have had a giveaway here on the old blog. ;)
I really do like to do them, but, well. I keep buying stuff for myself. LOL.

But today I actually have a little something for YOU!

Remember this darling little clutch I made?

Well, you can win the pattern! Erin at Schlosser Designs is giving away one pattern to one of my lovely readers! Yay!

http://store.schlosserdesigns.com/product/garden-party-clutch-physical-pattern

The pattern comes with a couple of options. You can do a pieced body or a solid body.

She also is currently offering for purchase, a kit in her store, but I imagine they will go fast so go grab yours quick!

 Included in the kit:
-ALL fabric needed to make the project as shown (Including the lining!)
-Interfacing
-Zipper (Your choice of pink, black, or white, specify color choice during PayPal checkout. If not zipper choice is selected you will be sent black.)
-Hard Copy of the Garden Party Clutch Pattern

*These will be available to ship on Friday, April 26th.

I  have a few ways to enter. You only have to pick one, but you can do more than one if you would like multiple entries. You get up to 3 entries by answering each of the 3 questions in a separate comment. In other words every unique comment/answer gets one entry. If you answer all 3 questions in 1 comment, you will get only one entry. Savvy? :)

Option 1: Go to Schlosser Designs and tell me your 2 favorite patterns.

Option 2: Pattern Pet Peeves. What do you dislike about patterns you have purchased in the past? What problems have you encountered?

Option 3: Do you prefer PDF downloads or a hard copy?

EVERYONE: Please include your email address in your comment, regardless of whether your profile has it or not. Thanks! No email - No prize! Use this format: "emailme *at* gmail *dot* com".

I will choose a winner randomly and post and email the winner on Friday May 3rd, 2013.
Now, just leave your comment(s) below and spread the word!

**UPDATE: If the winner is not in the US they will receive the pattern in a PDF download.

Giveaway ends in 1 week, at 9am PST on Friday May 3rd, 2013.

  11. I dislike the patterns that come in books because it is such a pain to trace the size I need and cut it out, too much to keep track of! Just include a disc and then I can print out what I want.

  13. Nice give away. I prefer having the real pattern. Because if I don't print it off it gets forgotten.

  15. Pdf vs physical depends... I like the instant ability to get started if it's an on-line purchase, but OTOH, I really don't like taping pieces together, so prefer pattern pieces that are "whole". It I can get that by buying a physical pattern, I'd prefer that. firefly2790 at yahoo dot com

  16. Pattern pet peeves... having to tape together patterns LOL, seriously though, mistakes are the number one pet peeve, and it's quite shocking how many times I've come across mistakes in patterns. Next would be unclear directions. If I have to read a pattern many times to understand it, I quickly loose interest, and usually don't buy another from that person... (Can you tell I'm loaded up with my morning caffeine LOL?) firefly2790 at yahoo dot com Thanks for the give away!

  18. My pet peeve about quilt patterns is that the designer assumes you know a lot about sewing and does not include enough instructions i.e. the free quilt patterns online that contain the whole pattern and instructions on one page. Usually these patterns are designed for specific fabric companies.

  19. I download ONLY if the pattern is simple and/or it is the only possible way to buy the pattern.
Therefore, I like the hard copy patterns best; Most of my patterns are hard copies.
