So, I have been on a tiny fabric binge. :) (pics in a second) And 'cause I love you all who read my blog and share nice thoughts with me, I am going to share some of my fabric with you. I told you there was some new fabrics available at one of my LQS's. BUT they were taking a fair lot of it to the Dallas quilt show, where I just knew it would disappear, never to be seen again. You should have seen me standing in front of the fat quarter basket gnawing on my sunglasses trying to justify buying all of them. (I didn't.)
From Life's a Hoot I got the cutie owls, some dots, and some stripes, and from Vintage Groove the awesome pink curlicues. (I am scared of actually using stripes but these were too yummy to pass up.) I did wish they had an orange one. I think it would finish the set off nicely.
These are for the vintage sheet quilts. I am making 4 doll sized quilts; one for each child. Blue with stars for the boys, pink with flowers for the girls.
I am using this doll quilt as a jumping off point. It belonged to my husband's sister. Either her mom or grandmother made it. She didn't want it so I grabbed it. My littlest one loves it.
Here are my cute new fabrics that I have no idea what to do with. :) Just had to have them.
And last but not least, here are fabrics for YOU! All you have to do is be a follower of this blog and leave me a comment telling me what you had for breakfast (I had oatmeal...chocolate chip cookies. Recipe tomorrow!). Easy peasy!
One entry per follower please!
Have a great day!
